I was so honard when she sat on my lap even though I still think it was the chair... I will alway's remember her and miss her take care you to and I will say a prayer for both of you and give squeeks a hug for me ok as I know that squeeks will be lonly tonight as well. God bless you all.

She was, every time we'd take her to the vet or whatever, people would tell us how pretty she was. Not real bright, but beautiful, and she loved everyone and everything.

She loved people, I'm sure she was saying hi to you and not just the furniture. ;-) Squeaks knows something's up. When Bridge was having to make the decision and crying, Squeaks asked to come inside and went straight for her lap, even though I was right beside her. She knew who needed her most then. I expect her to start wandering the house looking for Spider soon. They weren't buddies, but she got confused the last time that Spider was at the vet for days.

It makes me feel... I dunno, lucky but almost guilty, because I've had my cat for ten or eleven. I'm glad she's still healthy and here to console us over the loss of Spider, but... geez. In a way it's not right that the older cat should outlive the younger one. But I loved Spider too, even though Bridgie was definitely 'her person'. I'm the one that decided to get her as a surprise for Bridgie, as a kitten, because she was wanting a cat of her own so badly at the time.

I'm so sorry - she really was beautiful. I've never seen coloring like that before and she just looks as sweet as she could be.

The last few times I took my cats to the vet, they didn't have a clue what was wrong with them either. This has been a disturbing trend I've heard a lot from people lately and it's very upsetting.

I'm sorry you two had to let her go so soon. :-(

The vet called her a 'blue/cream tortoiseshell' and it's actually kind of the mutt cat coloring around here. She was about the sweetest most loving cat I've ever known. Not a brain in her head, but she would purr and love Squeaks even when she was being smacked around.

Yurgh. That's... not good to hear. When we had the tests done there were two things they thought might be wrong with her that we didn't pursue, partly because there wasn't anything we could do to save her if she had them anyway. One was something they all have as kittens and every once in a while it mutates in adults.

*HUGS* Thanks for the sympathy, and... I'm about to make a new post, because soon though it is, we just got a kitten...
