If it's a character I don't know, you'll have to provide a reference picture or a really damn good description.

I don't promise to do this in a timely manner, but I tend to work pretty fast...
And Shad, the answer is no. See above about family. I have drawn too much Thorn already. No. Go away.

What kind of sword does Mel use, and is she right or left handed?

The Astral Vine, her first sword ever, is a basic longsword. I think the other ones she uses are the same kind. (The person that gave her the swords didn't tell me what kind they were. *grumps*) And she's right handed, despite the fact that she uses her left hand for drawing and stuff.

The sketch has serious issues. I'm not happy with her face at all. I'm not sure if I have the energy to fix it either, since I already redrew her face and one hand half a dozen times. At a certain point you gotta just leave off. Had a photo taken of me from slightly above for reference, but that was tricky to work from because I no longer have the scrawny frame of a teenager. Well Bridgie's done one 'sketch', which is colored and shiny, so now I feel like an underachiever. I'm really not quite happy with this so I might redo it yet. Mel is tricky because I end up looking at your icons for reference and you've got so many different chicks there...
