Oh I dunno, tall, kind of grouchy, likes tea too much, complains about being old, and is actually capable of physically kicking ass. Sound familiar?

1. Way before he was the Librarian, he really didn't completely mind being a pitfighter. He disliked the slavery and not having the chance for education, but the fighting itself never really bothered him.

2. He also felt more comfortable around his fellow pitfighters in the sense that they tended to be bred large. He's always been embarrassed about his size right from the beginning.

3. The Librarian's had an interest in magic ever since he became aware of it, even though he has no natural ability for it. He turned it into an academic interest until he became what he is now.

I'm not sure any of that has anything to do with you, but, y'know...

Mmmm... Apart from the occasional knock to the head, I'm not particularly worried over my size. Nonetheless I approve of him. ;-)
