Yeah, I guess Hallowe'en was a while ago. I'd say I've been busy, but I haven't exactly. I did rearrange the livingroom and clean and stuff, that's gotta count for something, and I put in another job application today. I know I'm not looking hard enough for a job, and that's my fault, and we need the money. The money situation is really not happy right now, and I think it's giving Ginny extra stress she really doesn't need and I'm guilt tripping over it a lot, and yet I'm slow at job hunting.
Yeah, I might be a little depressed and that doesn't help, but basically I need to kick myself in the ass and go find a way to make money.

Aaanyway, whoever actually reads this probably didn't want to hear all that. Hallowe'en photos! here ya go, very late and stuff, but, whatever. I might not have a job, but I can paper maché like a... really... kickass paper maché thingy...

Me and Ginny-Bridgie all cute and stuff. I'm not sure if I've collected her soul yet or not, and if I have, then she seems to be adjusting well to the afterlife.
Not sure why the afterlife looks like a burger joint, though.

A close up of the cute little rattie, who doesn't like the flash on the digital camera...

Our buddy Matt, who at the last minute was encouraged to dress up as the Shadow, except that he had no clue who that is so I loaned him the movie. If only the coat was black.

And a nice photo of my costume. I'm not sure why the glare, there. I'm holding an hourglass, which is hard to see. I only wish I'd worn a turtleneck or something.

I should do some side shots of the mask. It seems more effective with the hood over it, but it does go completely over the back of my head too. Our upstairs looks pretty spooky now, because I gathered together all my costume stuff, and there's a big Anubis head, a Raven mask, and a Death of Rats skull all lined up with the other costume stuff that goes with each in plastic bags.
Yeah. I like Hallowe'en.

Word.
We went to a burger joint and got stared at, and then we rented movies and sat at the apartment finishing off the candy. We get almost no trick-or-treaters in this neighborhood, and the people next door who have a little kid are jehovah's witnesses *shudder* Nice people, actually, and they've never tried to convert us or anything, but I always wonder what they think because I put orange lights and bats and cobwebs and all kinds of shit in the window every year.

I don't know about all of them, but I've known a couple of JW's, and they were all totally unconcerned about other people celebrating holidays.

Oh, well it's good to know I have my neighbor's OK, because they like, hold packages for me sometimes if we're not home and stuff.
The rest of the building is... well, we don't know our neighbors, and the people on the other side of us changes about twice a year, and the last ones getting evicted or whatever caused a mixup that got our gas shut off for a week. But the JW people, they've been here since before we moved in, and they're always polite, and I'm leery of any religion these days really, but this particular family is genuinely nice.
We just wish a cool gay couple would move in on the other side.
