Still here, for now. Getting tired of angsting all over this journal, so I'm having trouble finding anything non-angst to post or say. I'm really sorry, to all friends. I know I'm way behind on what's going on. I don't get online a whole lot right now, except to stare at comics, which don't require any input. Bridgie got turned down for unemployment, and I'm off to my new job this afternoon, my first day will take a 45 minute drive to an area I'm really unfamiliar with, and being late once is a firing offense. Right now there's just a lot of flaily 'where is rent going to come from?' and 'will the car hold out on a job I have to drive all over every day?' and 'OMFG are we really and truly fucked yet?'

Damnit. Angsting again. Anyway, if we seem to be absent, and utterly confused as to what's going on when we're not, this is why.

I just don't know guys. I don't know. Every day feels like falling.

That's what they told us by mouth, the manual thingy says being a no-show means you're out the door, and being late three times counts the same as a no-show. Not as strict, but they do inventory and you need to be there on time, and... yeah. I saw it in operation today. One person didn't show up, another left without finding out who he was supposed to contact for tomorrow's work. They crossed both people off for all future jobs.

So sorry she got turned down. That really sucks. Hopefully you can make a few connections while you're doing your inventory job. Like, "hey, that Rey person really seems on the ball, we should hire her!"

It does suck... she applied to Ukrops today though, and there's an opening at Dumbarton, and that's where she worked before this last job and the people there still chat with her all the time so i have hope for that.

I've been on it... but I obviously don't check it much.

It... turned out to not be actual work, but two hours of figuring out schedules and a little training, and finding out that I have been hired for Hell week. Post to come...

Err... not so much. On the plus side, it won't always be so bad, on the minus side, I have been hired to start during hell week and two out of the three days left I go to places two+ hours away and agh... it's all hospitals. Post to come in a minute.
