Two-toed sloth steampunk mechanic is finished! Last chance to buy it before I slap it up on Etsy! There's other jobhunting stuff to do on the comp today, so I probably won't get to that until evening.
Yes, that really is brown pencil in the background, and my hand didn't quite fall off yet, so I'll still be drawing more stuff. The wrist continues to act up intermittently though, which is why this took three days to color instead of one.

I need caffiene.

Haaa ha haaa! I love it! Especially how he's scratching his head. Y'know, there's the makings of a seriously recognizable style/motif here.

But you'll want to switch to something aside from pencil for solid backgrounds. Which you knew already.

I'm making it sort of a theme because it seems to be what people like, but I'm not sure it's possible to pin down my style. I mean, you can look in my gallery and see where I jump all over the place in medium and style. But yeah... I needed an excuse to show off his claws. ;)

I almost did marker for the background, I really did. Honestly though, the background didn't bother my hand too badly, it was all the metalwork, and I'm not sure why that was the case.

You know what would be exceptionally cool? One of those critters on one of these.

...But not specifically a sloth? Because a sloth in a corset is a little wierd even for me. ;D

Those are awesome though, and now I want one.

So what kind of animal would you put in it?

My first thought was, "a hot, buxom geek," but then I realized I'd misunderstood the preposition. Or you misunderstood mine. I was thinking of the clockmaker hare inscribed on the corset's main panel, and clock parts scattered around on the other panels.

But in it? Hmmm. A lioness sky pilot or actress, perhaps?

...on the other hand, said lionesses would look pretty cool inscribed on the corset itself, too.

Ohhhhhh! Dude, that would be awesome, except I have no idea how to make a corset. I guess you could work that kind of stuff in with leatherworking tools though.

A busty lioness? ;D

According to that article I linked, the people at Bruteforce Studios inscribe it themselves; but the details are a bit murky after that.

Hey, I've seen much stranger things from the furry... folk! LOL I have no doubt you could make a lioness work with a corset. I, uh... was going to reference this page for something about it, but I keep forgetting what I was going to say.
