Bridgie's Birthday Snow (and art)

Okay, first off is a big Happy B'day to Bridgie the_wugglyump! She was born on this day in a snowstorm, which meant the police saw her parents trying to drive in it and came to warn them, and then ended up taking her mother to the hospital themselves. To commemorate that, mother nature's decided to try repeating the weather. It started yesterday afternoon and at this point it's... pretty undriveable. But awesome. I haven't seen this much snow here in about five years. Even I'm excited, which you can probably tell since I made a post last night.

So! Artness! I have another please vote for me request, because at the last minute I entered the MGC! I feel really bad they only got four entries, and even worse that my idea ended up close to Christi Smith-Hayden's (who is one of my Garg fanfic idols btw). I think we both uploaded at about the same moment and then saw each other's and went D'oh! Anyways, vite for me, vote for her, whatever. There's only four choices! Just go vote! I mean, please?

Along those lines I also rush finished up a pretty cool Gargoyles meme. I thought a lot of the questions were kind of unique, like the spinoff thing.

Anyways, I'm being pretty productive artistically, but today is definitely a break to play in the snow, and... er. Get food. I'm hoping it's somewhat driveable by this afternoon, although getting to the store means going over the bridge where I had my accident, and that worries me. This is not a flat bridge, you see, it's a nice big arch where you end up going downhill into the stoplight. It's great. Especially since bridges ice up first. Blargh.
Not gonna think about that right now though! Just enjoy the snow! Maybe we'll build something!

Molly has played in it no fewer than four times already! Maybe you can find a grocery store on Brook Rd.? You're right about that bridge. I wouldn't want to go over it in this weather, either, and I'm from Wisconsin (i.e., used to driving in the snow).

There is the Ukrops on Brook, but instead we were insane enough to walk! We took a break and had lunch and hot cocoa at Shoney's though, so it was all good. I really needed to go because I didn't have the stuff for her birthday dinner...

My ties aren't bald, but they're old enough I should really think about getting them replaced when I have money again. It's supposed to be much worse tomorrow, as far as ice, and of course I don't own chains.

Also, I LOVE the gargoyle art. Love love love. I can only hope that eventually Broadway would rip Ramsey's head off. I can't stand that guy.

The walk to the store was pretty exhausting, because it was still coming down and there wasn't much of a trail broken yet or anything, but we never lost power.

Thanks! LOL I have this up on DA, of course, and I keep getting comments on the horror that is Gordon Ramsay. I told somebdoy to picture Broadway smacking him. Which would, y'know, knock him into or through walls...
