The Muppets were on the Today show or NBC news or something this morning. I knew this, as of yesterday, and therefore got up and tuned in only to find apparently it was on the earlier show, which I wouldn't have expected because that's more for people catching the news before work whereas the later stuff is fluff for jobless lazy people like me. Bleh. I really wanted to see it, just because. Muppets. It's probably up on youtube or will be, but that tends to be incredibly hard to load over dialup.
I'm not bitter, really.

In other news, we're probably going to be mostly unavailable starting this evening until Sunday, because of this church bazaar where we will be trying to sell some of Bridgie's dolls (She has almost thirty priced and ready to go. OMG), and some of my art. If it goes badly there'll be some Etsy listing/relisting, if it goes fantastic we'll be pleased to have a little more money towards a future in which borrowing some is probably inevitable either way, thanks to my dental stuff. If it goes okay, we'll break even on the cost of the space. Wish us luck.

*blush* Aw, gawrsh...

It's lots of fun, and you can buy the thing once done! I only discovered yesterday, myself, and have been restrained from purchase only by the high price. It is FAO, after all.

Yeeeah, seeing as we're going to have to borrow money just to pay for necessary stuff, and I'm dreading Christmas, the price tag is way out of reach. It loaded well though and playing around with it is fun. ;)

Awww, I'm sorry you missed the Muppets. If it makes you feel any better, I missed it too.

Good luck at the church bazaar!

I'll get over it, I'm just peeved because I was all excited about it since I saw them mention it yesterday morning. I set my alarm and everything. :P
I'm hoping it'll be on youtube, I might be desperate enough to hunt it down and wait the hours it'd take to load.

Thanks! I'm finishing up a set of Nutcracker cards as we speak. I wish I had more to put up there, but I'm taking the stuff that's listed on Etsy since it hasn't sold there.

The clips are on The Today Show website! :)

...Okay. I'm insane enough to go see if I can get them to load. TY! Oh! They're showing a couple clips now...

...I think Kathy Lee Gifford just insulted Miss Piggy.

Did she bite her? I'd have bitten her.

No, Frank Oz was showing restraint. ;) They accused Piggy of having bangtox, which is when you grow your bangs over your forehead instead of getting botox? I dunno man. I'm loading a clip in another window but it's gonna take a while.

I'm looking up conspiracy theories so I can write the scene with Ekwueme. My favorite so far is that Bush is a reptillian shape-shifting alien that has to have human blood to maintain his humanoid form.

Duuude, this I have not heard! I mostly know the old standard conspiracies. Bacon was really Shakespeare and the Illuminati run the world and put their mark on America's money with the eye in the pyramid and brainwashing in early school and fnords and the black helicopters that can see through your roof into your house etc.

Wow. That is seriously special. This is the kind of guy that makes New Age ideas look horrible. On the other hand Teng is pretty wacked out, right?
Shad says he'll entertain just about anything as being possible, but might not buy into something that extreme completely. He also says to let him at the keyboard to work on NaNo.

Very special.

I figured Teng would have his own mix of ideas regarding IRPA, Aliens, and The Government, borrowing a little from a bunch of different other theorists. That's what makes it so difficult.

Uhhh.... IRPA is a government funded organization designed to create a race of super soldiers using hybrid DNA of aliens and human mages, who will have mind control powers to insinuate themselves into society and the governments of any foriegn countries not already in the power of the Illuminati. The war will be a subtle and quiet one waged by their takeover of society and subjugation of normals on a very personal level.
There's a tiny element of truth in there somewhere.

That's very close to what I came up with. XD I think I like yours better, but I'm not going to go back and edit now. We'll work on it together later, after nano.

Kathy Lee, that is. Not Miss Piggy.

XD I figured. Karate chops are more her style though.
BTW the piece of purple fabric isn't as big as you probably thought it was, but I tucked it in with the dolls. The nutcracker card set is done.
