I'm eating cucumber.

Mmm... cucumber.

I've been putting this getting an lj thing off until I finished at least inking the comic I've been working on, but then I wasn't getting much work done on it these past couple of weeks anyway. I'm not sure why I gave in other than that it didn't seem like it would make a lot of difference. I went without any net access at home for about a year, which is a bad thing when you have a domain. Funny thing is, I didn't miss it much. I say 'much' because there were times, when I felt guilty about the website, which I don't think gets looked at much anyway, or when I wanted to do something that's much more expedient online like ordering a specific book. Then when I got the computer halfway running and online, I still wasn't interested in it much, until my girlfriend started coming home from her nice deskjob and telling me about livejournal all the time. I don't even have net access at work, so I was pretty clueless.
And now here I am. I mainly got it because I kept making comments on hers and it's a pain to post as anonymous and have the server ask you if you're a real person all the time. You know, there's always that moment of doubt when it questions you. I'd hate for that to be the way I found out I was a robot or an alien. Or worse, a spammer.

Other notes on the day:
Spent all morning getting the Courtney Crumrin fanpage up (even though the main webpage sits waiting to be updated), and still can't figure out why the link colours are wrong. My browser wasn't overriding the coding one minute, the next it was... at least, I *hope* that's the problem, and not that the hex code is changing when I'm not looking directly at it.

I desperately need to get my ass moving on buying plane tickets to go back to WA for a wedding I both desperately want to go to, and also don't want to go to at all, because the groom's father died of cancer this past winter. I grew up with their family, and I didn't get to see him before he went, and I'm still having issues with it. The rest of his family however, from what I have heard, is getting on with life. I have no right to be stuck on it...

And the pretty girl is telling me the entry is ridiculously long, so I'll stop now...

Nope, misanthropic, amnesiac, alcoholic, rich, tall, skinny, thirty-something looking mage with glasses. Named Terrence Coleburn. He did this freaky transformation spell thingy. I pretty much play him as his own seperate character, but he's Tamh in the 20th century.

A couple decent ones... and he'll be on the 20th century section of c.m.p. once I update... I'll scan 'em this evening or something. I unexpectedly have to go in earlier today.

He's still got the nose, and wavy/curly hair, hair and eye colour is the same. Now he has nightmares about fire and women screaming and he doesn't remember why. He's a grouchy old wizard archetype in some ways, but he doesn't look the part.
