Commissions, Please?

As you might have noticed, I'm now without work. And so...

I will draw your character for monies!
I like to email sketches and get feedback to make sure I’ve got the details right before I ink and finish the picture. I draw fairly fast, so the turnaround time should be good. All art will be inked with Pigma microns, but for color portraits you can pick either traditional media(marker + colored pencil), or digital coloring. If you don’t have a preference, I’ll use whichever seems to fit that portrait best. If you’ll pay shipping, I’m also happy to mail you the original artwork.

Options are as follows:

Black and white line art, no background, $15
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.

Color portrait, no background, $20
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.

Color portrait with simple background, $30
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.
I’m not going to do a detailed cityscape with hidden other characters as a background, or at least not for #35, but as in the samples it will be a nice basic backdrop and some actual composition that gives the piece a finished look.

If you want to commission me for something above and beyond the offerings here, just let me know!I’m very flexible if you have a specific pose or mood or something you want in your picture. I reserve the right to display the finished work here with a notice that the character is copyrighted to you, unless you specifically ask me not to.

Spread the word? I'm not trying to hit my friends up for money or anything, but I just don't have a whole lot of places to post this, apart from here and on DA. Feel free to let people know...

Hrm. The budget leans more toward paper, I have to admit, especially since I"m hoping to commission work from a couple of other folks on LJ as well. That size is just the max space; smaller is just fine. Subject-wise...I don't really have anything in particular in mind. I very much liked your Wonderland tea-party with Time, and I am a Wonderland/Looking-glass fan in general; I like Egypt, octopuses, cats, birds, bats....stuff...tiny demonlets that look like ears with legs....Does anything appeal?

Okay, I'll see what's a good size cardstock paper I can get. We might have something in the house already, smaller than 24" square but still a good size. Paper is easier to frame, if that's what you intend to do with it.
...ears with legs? What? I've always been more of a nose fan than ears... I could do you some kind of a wacky teaparty, or I had a slightly surreal idea involving newts. Either of those is appealing to me. ;) The teaparty thing would have way more detail. The newt thing would work well at such a large scale.

Surreal idea involving newts? You know me too well! :D Can you think about what you've got for paper and what price seems reasonable, and email me?

:D
