Commissions, Please?

As you might have noticed, I'm now without work. And so...
I will draw your character for monies!
I like to email sketches and get feedback to make sure I’ve got the details right before I ink and finish the picture. I draw fairly fast, so the turnaround time should be good. All art will be inked with Pigma microns, but for color portraits you can pick either traditional media(marker + colored pencil), or digital coloring. If you don’t have a preference, I’ll use whichever seems to fit that portrait best. If you’ll pay shipping, I’m also happy to mail you the original artwork.
Options are as follows:
Black and white line art, no background, $15
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.
Color portrait, no background, $20
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.
Color portrait with simple background, $30
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, & F.
I’m not going to do a detailed cityscape with hidden other characters as a background, or at least not for #35, but as in the samples it will be a nice basic backdrop and some actual composition that gives the piece a finished look.
If you want to commission me for something above and beyond the offerings here, just let me know!I’m very flexible if you have a specific pose or mood or something you want in your picture. I reserve the right to display the finished work here with a notice that the character is copyrighted to you, unless you specifically ask me not to.
Spread the word? I'm not trying to hit my friends up for money or anything, but I just don't have a whole lot of places to post this, apart from here and on DA. Feel free to let people know...

Date: Jun. 25th, 2008 06:35 pm (UTC)The wedding picture is a cute idea! I could send you a photo ref when I get back. Although in real life, if we each had a gerbil on our heads, they'd try to kill each other. :( Bad gerbies!

Date: Jun. 29th, 2008 02:08 pm (UTC)If you've got a subject matter in mind or guidelines or something... I don't know what kind of art you want in your home. I'm not quite sure what to charge, but I'd be flexible. Feel free to email me with more details? I don't know what kind of a budget you're on.

Date: Jun. 30th, 2008 02:29 pm (UTC)...ears with legs? What? I've always been more of a nose fan than ears... I could do you some kind of a wacky teaparty, or I had a slightly surreal idea involving newts. Either of those is appealing to me. ;) The teaparty thing would have way more detail. The newt thing would work well at such a large scale.
