reymonkeyI wasn't completely joking about the touch of scurvy thing. I started with a sore throat, dodged the doctor Friday because I was starting to feel a little better, then developed the vicious killer head cold from outer space over the weekend. I had a three hour shift last night, which I didn't call in for, and I was dizzy and felt like I just got through it. I'm getting better, longer shift tonight. Still catching up on online stuff... hopefully I'm through being contagious. At least Bridgie's okay.

My facts/habits/quirks
1. I don't take compliments well at all. I guess that won't come as a surprise to some people. It's just that they always come out of the blue at me and I never have any idea what to say. I didn't get many of 'em growing up, fro anyone.
2. My favorite part of my body is my hands. They're big, long fingered, strong, and they make good art sometimes.
3. The corner behind the front door is called the armory. There's... lessee, four swords, four big staffs, one wooden cane, and the big goofy plastic scythe from when I was the Death of Rats for H'ween. Most of that stuff's mine.
4. I only drink coffee about once a week these days. I'm actually okay with that. I did pretty much live on it once.
5. I'm actually uncomfortable in my parent's house now, or I was the last time I visited. I felt so acutely that I didn't belog there.
6. All the time I was growing up I desperately wanted a pet snake. I used to catch garter snakes as a kid and beg my mother to let me keep one for just a few days, like in a tank, but nothing doing.
7. I'm interested in history and swords, and I take on a lot of masculine things in the way I dress and think and act, but there is no time I would rather live in than now and I'm glad to be female.
It doesn't say I can't tag other people I've seen get tagged already. Bridgie, Shad, Morri, Shiri, Mel, Alex if she ever sees this, and... um... Janewt and Sarahmun.
