Bridgie can has Birthday!
Mar. 2nd, 2010 04:23 pmThis feels late in the day, but everyone say happy birthday to
the_wugglyump! I would've posted sooner but our day's been busy, albeit it mostly good ways. We've been petsitting over two weeks now, and this morning I let her sleep in and took care of the dogs alone, and got her balloons which is what she asked for partly because she wanted to see how Froggy reacts. She'd gotten a thing of cinnamon rolls for breakfast, I guess thinking she'd make them, but she didn't wake up when I came home so I made them instead, and then clipped the balloons to a mug in the kitchen beside them, and went and woke her up. I told her she got first pick of the rolls. She went into the kitchen. She got a cinnamon roll. She came out again. I looked at her and said 'you're not very awake, are you? Why don't you go in the kitchen again?' and she gave me a blank look and went back in, and then squealed 'Balloons!'
She's cute, but I've gotta harass her for missing them the first time.
Anyway, she came to my therapy appointment with me, which was awesome of her, and then we went to meet some friends we haven't really seen in a couple years for lunch. They said meet at Chipotle's and I asked if she meant the one on Broad Street... but I didn't know there are three of them on Broad. Whee. Anyway, some cell phone coordination later we got to the right one, and they gave her presents and we had lunch and it was all good.
Since lunch was later, we went straight from there to walk the dogs (Shad never did tell me how he gets them to heel), and as we were coming back up around the block the owners came home, and the dogs spazzed all over them and when we got in the cat, who hates us, was sweet and affectionate, and as nice as the dogs were it's a relief to know we don't have to go over there again tonight. I think Bridgie's just as glad to have the rest of her birthday to chill, she's on the big computer playing FB games right now.
She plays zoo world, and people try to collect certain animals ad talk about what they're looking for on this side comm or something, and people are always looking for binturongs? Except on this comm they post that they're looking for a bint.
LULZ.
Going back to birthdaying now.
