BDay and stuff and art

Weeell, there's white stuff on the ground, but it isn't snow. I'm not looking forward to scraping the ice off the car later. The sleet or whatever is still coming down pretty steadily.
Snow or not, Happy Birthday to morrbiddus! I will do Arlen fanart, I swear.
The holdup is I've been frantically illustrating this thing for courtneycrumrin and evillurks which I am going to plug here because I can. Fisher will show up at one point later on, but I'll admit I'm mostly plugging it because art! It's not my best work, I'm tearing through a drawing and a half a day, although I fell behind on the weekend. Alternating between the style of Edd Cartier and Ted Naifeh, although I feel like the Naifeh style ones are both harder and turn out better. It's all hard edged, and I have to think seriously about negative space and making the black figures show up against the black thing with all the black. In the charcoal Cartier-style ones I can blur edges and use greytones and all so it's easier.
