This is… helpful, even if I’m approaching it from the other side of the fence. Still trying to read and sort things out in my own sense of self, and every little bit like this helps to read, although it’s also strangely painful so if a friend floods me with helpful info please don’t be surprised if I can only absorb it slowly.
Honestly, getting into SPG and from there learning about Bunny Bennett’s struggle was what triggered this search. When I started listening to her talk about trans issues, something inside me clicked and went ‘THAT’s why I’ve felt so out of place my entire life…’ I never realized I fit into that spectrum, I only knew I was out of synch with the rest of the world I’d encountered thus far.
