I guess that's one way they make money... :P Fortunately I got paid for the catsitting thing later that day.

It was pretty cute, but bigger than most I've seen around here. We did see it come in, and totally heard it scrambling around the ducts beforehand but dismissed that noise because the HVAC system is so old and sometimes does make random rattling noises.

I kind of wish I'd taken a photo or something, in retrospect.
