Rergh.

Oh. Cute. Trying to check my messages on DA flips me to something that claims it wants to install anti-virus software, which is probably itself a virus.

DA really needs to screen their advertisers better.

Also, Bridgie's dad gave her really horrible $1 DVDs for her birthday, MST3K type stuff. We just watched one called Warriors of the Wasteland, which was pretty bad, but achieved epic bad at the end, when our 'hero' donned see-through plastic plate armor, and chased down the villain's hopped-up golf cart in his hopped-up camaro, out of which a giant drill emerged with comical noises, and then gave the bad guy death by buttraep through the trunk of his car.

No lie. They gave a nice camera shot to be sure you knew the drill came in through the base of his seat.

Part of me is gone forever.

Delete all your temp internet files right away and clear your history to. Then run a search for any file with that kind of name attached to it if you find it delet it to if you can't scan it. Then send the site an email telling them whats going on. I think its on the work computer as I went there to check out your art work to the only thing that helps is trying to delet the temporary files and history ones. Its like a killer pop up virius. I hate those. What system are your running rey? xp, or vista? If you can go to a site thats reliable and get a fee scan for your computer and see if you can get rid of it that way. I just hope it didn't stick. Oh and delet cookkies as well it might help to.

Honestly, it seems to be okay. I'm still trying to find somewhere on their site to let them know what happened, but it never reached the point where it was able to download anything because of the way I closed it. It was one of those things where the only option was to click a button that said 'okay' but task manager let me shut it down. I've got XP pro which is... just a little weird, but sometimes in good ways. I'm not touching Vista if I can avoid it.

It really doesn't seem to have stuck, I've done restart and cleaned stuff out.

Good glad to hear it. Let them know if you can.
