01.) Full name? Markus Rathbone (I should probably come up with a middle name...)
02.) Best friend? Hard to say, probably John. He gets along well with just about everybody, but in some ways he relates to him better, even though they disagree on perspectives sometimes.
03.) Sexuality? Straight, awkward about jumping into the relationship with Harley. He got burned bad on his last girlfriend, even if it was a fake memory.
04.) Favorite color? Uhhh... I'll say rust, just to be weird.
05.) Relationship status? Very recently no longer single.
06.) Ideal mate? Someone who's intelligent, genuinely caring (last one wasn't), willing to accept him even though he's in rough times, and firm enough to curb his self-sacrifice to reasonable limits.
07.) Turn-ons? All the standard physical things, a strong will, and a good voice. This is what got him in trouble before.
08.) Last sexual experience? A long time ago, unfortunately. Rat is enough of a gentleman that he hasn't touched a lady since his girl left him, and they were living in sin but he'd just proposed... But, y'know, all that is fake memories so who knows?
09.) Favorite food? Coffee, anything free. Hamburgers are good, they've got all the food groups.
10.) Crushes? Uhhh... Harley?
11.) Favorite music? Jazz and blues. He'd love Van Morrison if he heard him.
12.) Biggest fear? Failing his friends or somehow being unable to help them in dire times.
13.) Biggest fantasy? Becoming a popular blues artist in his own right, famous enough to live off that.
14.) Quirks in bed? Uh. I imagine he'd be really concerned about making the girl happy. I dunno. Humming? I don't think of all my characters in sexual situations.
15.) Bad habits? Smoking, but he's kind of intermittent with it. Rat's a little laid-back on some of the good manners of the time period. Partly it's that being on the streets has roughened the edges, and partly he comes from a blue collar background, but he had better manners when he was a teacher.
16.) Biggest regret? In terms of real memories, killing one of the Strangers, even though he had to. In terms of fake past, suggesting they sell the ring back to the store temporarily, after he lost his job and they weren't sure how to make ends meet.
17.) Best kept secrets? Muahahahahaha One he doesn't know about, that is a mun plot. I will say this, most people in the city don't have a past as detailed as his. There's way more supportive evidence than most people have. The Strangers worked very hard to make him think he is who he is.
18.) Last thought? Wonder what Harley and the kid are up to now... oh! Can I beat that other cab to the curb for this fare?
19.) Worst sexual/romantic experience? Uh... ex girlfriend, I guess. For better or for worse wouldn't have worked out, if the way she took all she could carry and split is a hint.
20.) Biggest insecurity? Losing his hair. There's not much he can do about it though. He just hopes being tall keeps people from noticing the receding hairline so much.
In a lot of ways Rat is based off Shad, the tall and the nose and the music thing, but I'm told he just may be the closest in personality to me of any character I have. Even more than D.S., who is my all time favorite. I dunno if that's valid or not, but there it is. I guess he does have a lot of my personality with the laid-back and the jokes.
