Which I haven't forgotten about! Sorry, I really need to get going on that. I don't know how I'm managing to stall on commissions when I'm jobless and have no legitimate excuse. But yeah, it's a valid point. I know it gets out of hand fast. I'm not sure why I fall prey to that mindset, because my parents were very good about giving me a realistic idea of gifts, and what was too much to expect. We don't go overboard by any means, I'm just paranoid.
At least it was a relatively nice neighborhood we took her to. The whole thing was just strange.
