It wasn't meant to be hurtful, but my mother is one of those women who won't leave the house without make-up on. I'm going to go grey before I go wrinkly, so it'll probably be a lost cause by then anyway. Bridgie doesn't have to worry, people think she's still in High School.

I... spent most of my life up halfway through college feeling like that, and I still do sometimes. The lack of acknowledgement from employers feeds into it.
