Eheheheh... something more fuel efficient is out of the question, as is a new car. My total budget is $2000 and that's my dad's money. That's it. Monthly payments are out of the question when I'm jobless and we're barely making rent. I think we're going to go with the repair option, which is less than half that budget, and my father will give me some money left over from that so we can actually pay bills. Paying utilities is good. Knowing I might be able to pay the dentist to at least look my teeth over is good. We're hoping a year or so down the road (which the mechanic says he thinks the car will be good for once we replace the transmission), I might have a job where we can talk about getting a better, newer car.
