My thyroid was fine before, and the they put me on prozac, and my parents researched and asked if there were any side effects we should know about, and thyroid problems were never mentioned. Then my thyroid messed up, and the first thing the doctors said was 'oh, the prozac probably did it.' Asshats. They took me off prozac and put me on synthroid for a while, but my thyroid basically fixed itself, which it probably wouldn't have done if it were some other reason for it going wrong in the first place. I don't like doctors.
