When it comes to stuff like that, it's hard to not to see them as a pair. They often present a united front. I really liked it. :) Rat is a good influence on the lot of them.

A united front, but it seems to me they do kind of feed of each other in bad ways, too. Rat has what I hope is a more mature perspective, that you need to take what good you can from life. He tries to share it with others.
