MGC art and other stuff!
Oct. 31st, 2008 10:39 pmYarrr! I be makin' the most of me Hallow's Eve costume! Okay, so we didn't do much but go out to eat, and there's a couple photos of me in costume shooting at the cats (I have awesome wood and metal toy pistols from Pirates of the Carribean at DWorld, from back before the movie was a gleam in anybody's eye). We got way more trick-or-treaters than usual, but we have a few little packs of M&M's left so for once we got the candy amount about right. I swear though, someday, when I have a real house where there's room for visitors and crap, I'm going to have a costume party.

shadowtricker! I bet you thought you'd get out of me mentioning it on here.
And have I whined on here enough about my MP3 player being broken? How every time I've tried to fix it, it loses more songs? Well I've consulted with my dad a few times about it too, because he has the same kind, and he's at a loss too. My birthday gift from my parents came in the mail, and they replaced it. Exact same model and all, OMG I hope it was cheaper this time now that model's older. Honestly, that's the best thing they could get me. I was in love with having an MP3 player until it went wonky. I just got the new one all loaded up today and I am squeebling with joy. ;)
And the arts: One of the reasons the last week or so has had a lack of nets RP is my fault, because I yet again ended up panicking working on my MGC entry at the last minute. I'm liking this new style of digital painting kind of scribbly though. Unlike Shiri's commission, this one is outright painted right over the line art. On DA it's here, but I once again beg that once they post it you vote for it on the MGC website here. Pretty please?
I'm pleased that it came out as a kind of similar feel and look to the older Owen picture, so they almost make a set of his dual aspect.
Anyway, that done, I have a portrait commission to work on forplaceboweek and my own arts. Next month is NaNoWriMo and I expect to not get much keyboard time, since I don't aspire to write a novel and other people do. I have some more kidsitting, and a dreaded dentist appointment, and the traffic ticket, so it's going to be a busy month. Will post if I ever get the keyboard back before December. ;)
