Thank you, lady who offered me the right of way when we were both making left turns. It brightened my day to know there are polite, nice drivers out there, drivers who don't zoom past stop signs without looking, or run red lights, or go past 'do not enter' signs and look annoyed to find someone coming from the other way, or exit parking lots at 30mph from behind trees or other obstructions without looking for traffic, or drive in the left lane. Every day that I drive I am nearly hit by at least one of these, or something like it. I don't even care if, like many Richmonders, you don't know what turn signals are for. You were a courteous driver, and it warms my heart.
