There is much talk of action figures this morning. I am tempted to round up all the figures I can find in the house and photograph a wacky action figure orgy or something. Movie! Nightcrawler is looking down from the shelf above the computer and grimacing at me for this. I likes my action figures yes I do. Of course I'd need to go over a couple of them with superglue first. The hessian's sword has been broken for a while, the blade snapped right off the hilt. Damn cheap swords where the tang doesn't go deep enough...

In worrying news, I ran down the street for lunch and when I went to leave, the gearshift got stuck. The car would not come out of park until I turned the whole damn car off and restarted it. It's been having some issues where there's this slight delay with the gears changing, sometimes I'll switch from reverse to drive and after I've shifted it and tapped the gas again there's this delayed sort of jolt while it catches up to that. Not good. Bad jujubees. I do not like the idea of having to put the car in the shop amidst the current commuting chaos I have going on. This is an extremely rare and unexpected day off from both work and puppetry rehearsal.

Have not screamed at the bank yet, but I checked and the wackiness has not been corrected, but my paycheck just went in so that's nice. I also slept in this morning so I feel better than I have for a couple weeks. Lazy, but better.

WTF: Yesterday Bridgie asked me to bring home another package of flesh-color wool roving from work, because she ran short on the hair for the doll she's been making this week. I did, and found myself looking at the back of the package. 12" Flesh. How many pounds does a foot of flesh weigh?

Well I thought it was funny, but then I'm sleep deprived a lot.
