I don't like clothes. I see maybe one article of clothing I like once every six months, but today we were out and I saw this vest I liked. I tried it on. It was a Medium. I could not get it buttoned comfortably.
This realy pisses me off, because as a society we're getting larger, and we're clearly sizing our clothes for midgets.
I am not a big person. I came home and measured myself, measured my waist a couple times because I honestly could not believe the number was that low. The waist I could not get this vest buttoned around measures 30 inches. I wear a 34B bra. Why must I seek out clothes in sizes that read Large or, if I'd like it to be roomy, extra large? And I don't even care that much about my own clothes, I'm just pissed on behalf of all the other chicks out there. My girlfriend shops at Lane Bryant and I actually have a top from there, a close-fitting one, that I can wear. Without being indecent. If our plus size stores start catering to the 34B/30/36? set, then we're gonna wind up with a lot of naked chicks out there.
Actually, I'd probably enjoy that.
And for the record, Kirstie Alley was way hotter before she lost all that weight. Now she just looks top heavy.
