1. Put your music player on shuffle.
2. Press forward for each question.
3. Use the song title as the answer to the question

What does this year have in store for you?
(White Man) Hammersmith Palais - The Clash
Uhhh... well. Okay. Does this mean I'm going to lots of punk music scenes or concerts or something?

What does your love life look like?
Wild - Seal
Ahahahahahahahaha ;D

What do you say when life gets hard?
Your Own Worst Enemy - TMBG
That's appropriate.

What do you think of when you get up in the morning?
Space Suit - TMBG
Purely instrumental, this is a favorite off the Apollo 18 album. Hm. I am pretty spacy in the mornings.

What song will you dance to at your wedding?
Think/Wenn Wellen Schwingen - INFOSOC
That? Would be teh awesome.

What do you want as a career?
Mammal - TMBG
*ded*

Your favourite saying?
Perry Mason Theme - Blues Brothers
Ironically, this is off the Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack and is preceded by the line, 'Got a mintue, Mack?' and then they go gag and bind the Russians in only their underwear.

What do you think of your parents?
Give Me Up Again - Jonny Lang
O.O Ummmmm...

Where would you go on a first date?
Demon Days Intro - Gorillaz
Someplace with lots of creepy laughter, guitar distortion, and static in the background apparently.

Drug of choice?
Lucky Ball & Chain - TMBG
My girlfriend is my drug of choice. She'd like to point out that she's over five feet tall, and I haven't lost her.

Describe yourself.
El Manana - Gorillaz
I don't know if this means I procrastinate a lot, or...

What is the thing you like doing most?
Get What You Give - Jonny Lang
That makes me sound almost charitable.

The song that best describes the president?
Never Coming Home - Sting
Oh gods. This is clearly a reference to the current situation with the troops...

What is my state of mind like at the moment?
Brand New Day - Sting
Hunh. Okay.

How will I die?
Drunken Sailor - Wylde Nept
Woohoo! Arrr... Someday they'll find me with me eyes pecked out by the gulls, sprawled on the mizzenmast with me cutlass in one hand and empty bottle o' whiskey in the other...

Song played at your funeral?
Why Should I Cry For You - Sting
That's kind of touching, really.

I don't know if I should be annoyed or relieved no David Bowie showed up. I am a little distressed there's no Queen, but there's not much Queen on my MP3 player because I only have one album on CD and the rest are older cassette tapes.
My first MP3 player meme! I'm so proud...

yeah, and I still don't have half the music we own loaded on it, so the answers are skewed by that. no Indigo Girls, not much jazz, I've got Anjelique Kidjo stuff on it but it didn't come up... Thanks for having the meme up on your lj for me to steal!

This is utterly random, but I just think it's very interesting I have people on my flist I've known off and on for almost ten years and never met in person. Donya falls in that category too.

Yes, you're on my list, too. :) You and Zora and Mirana. It's amazing how little--and how much we all know about each other.

I met Zora once, her mother and sister, and me and Ginny-Bridgie all went to Busch Gardens. Met Wendy a couple of times, she was here a year two ago and we've been up to see her, and of course I've met Shiri in person... three times? Four? It kind of runs together.
And then there's me and Ginny. That's... just a story that's so fucking made in fate or something that I'm too cyncial to describe it. Every now and again I look back and count, and I've been living out here with her for six years now. Six years this past October. We need to have us one of them illegal unions and get it over with. ;)

Recurrent insomnia is killing my brain. I did go to one of the HoND cons, the January after I moved out here, but it was such a whirlwind I honestly don't remember who i did and didn't meet there.

Oh, yeah! Shiri, too! Actually, I never met anyone from the HoND fandom. Donya being the major exception, of course--but we were college roomies, so I didn't have much of a choice. I had such fun times RPing with you all.

Shiri still feels like the ringleader that the HoND world revolved around, to me, but I might have a skewed perspective. We've definitely grown apart, which is sad, but I try to still keep in touch.
I'm still RPing online, on LJ even, on stuff that's centered around [livejournal.com profile] dear_multiverse. I play Dirk Gently, out of Douglas Adams's books. That main community isn't really where the best stuff happens, but it's kind of the meeting place that a lot of people's games revolve around. Feel free to make a character journal and join up sometime.

I still want that clip from MST3K 'The Gunslinger' played at my funeral. But you can also play some TMBG for added flavor.

For some reason it amuses me that Crow was holding the removable headpiece thingy like a bunch of flowers to his chest.
Put it in your will...? Because I don't want to think about being around and coherent enough to have to arrange that stuff. Let's both die at the same time.

Queen music is the work of genius and it is a great tragedy of our times that Freddie Mercury died. I'm very upset I can't transfer my Queen albums. All I have on the MP3 player is a greatest hits album, when I have 'a Night at the Opera' and 'the Game' on cassette as a double. I have some other greatest hits stuff pirated on cassette.

I actually hadn't loaded the Labyrinth ST yet when I took that meme. I did have Ziggy Stardust and Black Tie/White Noise on there though. I'm still loading music on it. >_>
