Are there any Immortals that might cause trouble for him? All I know about Highlander, I've learned from RPing and crossover fanfic, so I'm not sure what the state of the Game is after canon.
Time travel could be possible, certainly. We've done several time travel plots (one of which I had to wait two IRL years for the payoff since we were playing it from both sides, that was fun), though only within their own lifetimes, so going outside of that would be new and interesting.
